This call will fund a robust, legally compliant and user-friendly digital solution that enables individuals to give, withdraw and manage consent for data altruism purposes.

The system will support recognised data altruism organisations by reducing operational and financial barriers, while strengthening trust, transparency and compliance with EU data protection and data governance legislations.

The solution is expected to be:

• compliant with GDPR and the Data Governance Act

• secure by design, with strong cybersecurity safeguards

• easy to use and accessible

• interoperable with existing tools and relevant EU digital infrastructure

• suitable for deployment by data altruism organisations

• released as trusted open-source software under an EU-approved licence

This is an opportunity for organisations with expertise in consent management, data governance, privacy engineering, cybersecurity, interoperability and open-source software development.
