Ai future?

I just want to understand... when does AI race end? All Chinese, American, and other companies are trying to build the most powerful AI model—yes, yes,—in order to make their country the biggest leader in Ai intelligence, and so on... But they have indeed created more powerful models, yes... And what about the prices? I'm not one of those who will pay about 100$ for Claude... I was happy and content with the simple, old-fashioned AI like Gemini 2.5 , but now some companies are going to put theses models for retirement And what's next? Can't we use artificial intelligence naturally? I don't want a god like model ! For a thousand dollars I just wanted to have some fun !
