Change music artist using "Identify" not possible

Hi

I'm trying to fix some issues with artists in my audio database using the "identify"-function with musicbrainz id.

This works without problems if i have an artist not linked to any musicbrainz id till yet.
I search for the artist in jellyfin, click on "Identify" and enter the musicbrainz id. The "Identify-search" then shows me the expected result and i can update the artist.

Not so, if the artist already is linked to a (wrong) musicbrainz id.
No matter which values i'm using to identify the artist, the "Identify-search" always doesn't show any results (it feels like it even doesn't search because the result-page appears immediately).

How can i fix this?
Maybe manually edit the "artist.nfo" and delete backdrop/folder/logo.jpg?
But then, how to enforce a reload of the pictures?
