Codex launching Claude

I’m using Codex with GPT-5.5 xhigh, and I noticed something pretty interesting: Codex launched a Claude agent. Turns out Codex didn’t have the permission to a tool it needed, but Claude did. So Codex apparently decided the best way forward was to launch Claude and get the job done. Has anyone seen this behavior before? (I posted this somewhere else and this subreddit doesn’t allow repost; but this is too funny and surprising for me so I thought to share here too)
