Thank You to Seeed Studio, Returning OSCCA Sponsor
We are grateful to announce that Seeed Studio is back as a sponsor of OSCCA for the second year in a row. Returning sponsors are a meaningful vote of confidence, and we do not take it for granted. Thank you, Seeed Studio.
Who Is Seeed Studio?
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Seeed Studio has spent nearly two decades with a single mission: making technology accessible to everyone. They are one of the leading AI hardware companies in the world, specializing in edge AI, IoT, and smart sensing solutions for developers, researchers, and system integrators alike.
Their product range covers a lot of ground, from compact microcontrollers and sensor networks to powerful edge AI computing platforms. They are an NVIDIA Jetson Elite Partner, an open source company from day one, and distribute to developers in over 150 countries.
For the OpenCV community in particular, Seeed is a natural fit. Their hardware runs OpenCV. Their customers build with it. And their commitment to open, accessible AI tooling mirrors what OpenCV has stood for since Gary Bradski started the project in 2000.
reCamera: A Pocket-Sized Vision AI Platform
The reCamera is a pocket-sized, modular AI camera powered by a RISC-V SoC running Linux, featuring 1 TOPS at INT8, a 5MP sensor, built-in YOLO support, and Node-RED for visual workflow programming. It ships with OpenCV C++ APIs built in, making it one of the most accessible platforms available for anyone who wants to deploy a vision model directly on a camera without any additional hardware.
The design is split across three interchangeable boards: a Core Board that handles processing and storage, a Sensor Board that houses the image sensor, and a Base Board that manages external connectivity including USB, Ethernet, and optional PoE. Swapping sensors or bases takes minutes, which means the reCamera can go from a desktop prototype to a PoE-powered industrial deployment without redesigning anything.
It is a genuinely interesting piece of hardware for anyone doing applied computer vision work, and it runs YOLO models out of the box.
reComputer: Serious Edge AI for Demanding Environments
Where the reCamera is built for vision at the device level, the reComputer line is built for situations that demand more compute. The reComputer Super Jetson series delivers AI performance from 34 TOPS up to 157 TOPS in Super mode, designed for demanding applications including vision AI, robotics, and generative AI at the edge.
The Industrial variants take things further. The reComputer Industrial series runs fanlessly across a wide operating temperature range, with dual Gigabit Ethernet, software-selectable RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial communication, CAN bus connectivity, and support for DC input from 12V to 24V, making it compatible with standard industrial power supplies and vehicle electrical systems. These are not developer kits. They are production-ready systems built for factory floors, outdoor installations, and mobile equipment.
Both product lines come with the full NVIDIA JetPack SDK and support the leading AI frameworks, so models built and trained on a workstation can be deployed with minimal modification.
Find Them at the AI Pavilion
Seeed Studio will be on the show floor at Display Week 2026, in the AI Pavilion, a dedicated section of the exhibition hall spotlighting the companies shaping the future of AI. The exhibition runs May 5-7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and OSCCA attendees get free passes to the hall. If you are attending OSCCA on May 4, stop by the Seeed booth and see the hardware in person.
Join Us on May 4
OSCCA takes place on May 4, 2026, in Los Angeles as part of Display Week. Sponsors like Seeed Studio make it possible for us to put on an event like this, and to keep developing the OpenCV library as a nonprofit. We are grateful for their continued support.
