audio converter clock issue

Hello My venerable Motu 24 I/O just start to behave wrong... Symptoms are, seem working at 44.1 and 48 but as soon as I switch to 2x (88.2 and 96) panel meter led shut down and audio stop working but generate random clic and crac. The funny thing being that coming back to 44.1 don't fix the issue (without a power on cycle) Master clock seem to work as other unit connected to the PCI card is fine and follow clock setting.
