Comment on Using AI to write better code more slowly by Mohamed Atta

Is there a case to be made for a low-budget, highly intentional approach to using AI? Specifically, one where you force yourself to understand every single line of code it generates? If I need to know, learn, and fully comprehend what the AI is outputting, it allows me to either acknowledge the solution, learn a new concept, or spot bugs early on. If I don't do this, how am I supposed to grow as a developer in the long term?
