Am I behind as a reader at 30? 42 books
I’m 30 and I’ve read about 42 books total in my life, at least that I can remember/log. I only started reading more seriously recently, and I’ve been feeling weirdly self-conscious about the number. I know reading isn’t supposed to be a competition, but when I see people saying they’ve read hundreds of books or 50+ books a year, I feel really behind. Is 42 books by 30 unusually low? Has anyone else started reading seriously later and caught up or built a strong reading habit after that? submitted by /u/what
