Moving Magnet Phono Cartridge Transformer

I would like to experiment with using a transformer in front of a standard MM phono input. The standard phono preamp input impedance is 47kΩ. The specs of a typical MM phono cartridge like a Shure V15 are DCR 1.35KΩ, Inductance 500mH, Output Level 3.5mV @1K Hz. There is the RIAA encode which has 20Hz down 20dB from the 1K reference level and 20K Hz +20dB from the reference level. Very little low end but a lot of high end.

I don't need any gain or loss but if a ratio other than 1:1 will help...
