Libxml2 requirements for software update

Hi there. I tried to run software update today but i’m seeing dozens of entries for]

package xxxx requires lib:libxml2 > some version 2.xxx but none of the providers can be installed.

I’ve seen this error several times in the past and usually just removed the package that requires the non available library.. (one of the many webkit browsers I had installed needed to go last week)…

But this time I have actually dozens of packages requiring libxml2 and asking to be uninstalled or ignored.

It’s the first time I’ve seen so many dependency failures in a software update.

Currently using master repositories (nightly) last update was about a week ago.

Any advice welcomed.
