Promotional posters for Isn’t It Romantic (2019), a romantic comedy directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and starring Rebel Wilson, released theatrically in the US by Warner Bros. / New Line Cinema on February 13, 2019, and distributed internationally by Netflix.

The key art was designed by WORKS ADV, Los Angeles. The campaign plays on rom-com clichés by crossing them out: the word “Don’t” is set in Addictive, a brush script by Michael Mervinetsky ( Studio&Story ), scrawled over the bold sans serif catchphrases (“Call Me”, etc.) in hot pink. The handwritten energy of the script against the clean sans creates the tongue-in-cheek contrast that carries the whole campaign. The film title and the release date are set in two weights from Adrian Frutiger’s Avenir.
