MacOS Pages - A decent-ish, somewhat confusing office tool

Words do come easy to me, but is there a program that will accept them all nice like? Here's a review of the Pages word processor in macOS, including basic look and feel, counterintuitive toolbar ans sidebar functionality, average styles management, average Microsoft Word compatibility with font replacements and elements removal, missing support for LibreOffice file format, media management, clunky autocomplete, good text-to-speech, general usability, some other observations, and more.
