I give thee a short, happy article extolling the value and capabilities of an 11-year-old Lenovo G50 laptop in the modern and up-to-date software environment, including modest build spec of two-core four-thread i3 CPU, 8 GB of RAM and integrated graphics, custom-added SSD for improved performance, use of Kubuntu 24.04 LTS as operating system, use of Linux virtualization with latest kernels, full HD media playback, reasonably fast boot times, removable battery, still fully functional DVD tray, and more.
