Harmonic Distortion and Biasing

Two questions. First which of these two graphs do you prefer? Option A: This is a stripped down U87 circuit built on a PCB. Option B: This is also a stripped down U87 circuit but this one is built PTP on a breadboard. Both mics use the little Neutrik 10-3 transformer. This one has lower harmonic distortion all around, but it doesn't have that staircase look. Now I can get the PTP build to have that staircase look to it (and bring in more 6k,7k,8k,9k 10k) but...
