Tin cans as a resource for DIY enthusiasts today.

Admittedly, it’s not the most exciting topic out there. Over the past few decades, I’ve enjoyed using tin cans as a metal resource for my DIY projects. Not very often, but it’s happened quite a bit over the years. What I've noticed is that tin cans are getting thinner and thinner; a modern Coke can isn't really made of a sheet of metal anymore—it's more like a thin foil that would be completely unstable without its contents and other mechanical tricks.
