Meanwhile, <a href='blogs.windows.com/windowsdeveloper/2026...the-trusted-platform-for-development/&; rel="nofollow ugc">in Redmond they’re gearing up for a Snow Leopard of sorts. Previously, Davuluri has said “we talked with Insiders and they all said they wanted fewer features and more polish” in different language, and this kind of looks like he’s delivering that sort of thing.
Depending on who you ask, MCPs are amazing or terrible token wasters on their way out. Regardless, I’d love a direct, official line to Apple’s docs.
My response is “or?” after having read quandri.io/engineering-blog/mcp-is-dead&; rel="nofollow ugc">MCP is dead</a>. A nice CLI program is much better except in weird edge cases.
