Design Psychology: Why do some products feel protective and others don't?
Ya'll definitely looked at something and deemed it safe or unsafe before actually checking whether it is. We know Weight and structure can signal quality , and I'm applying this to a hail-proof car cover that sits on stilts instead of draping on the paint, and it just looks sturdier. Do you notice yourself doing this to products you use in your daily life? What's a product that felt protective to you but was actually worse than something plainer?
