With Fab 5 moving entirely to expensive, metered token billing on July 12th, is Anthropic making a gamble ? OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol is already out, and Grok 4.5 is performing on par with Opus for coding workflows - both under flat-rate tiers. Forcing users to buy per-token credit packs while the competition offers unrestricted access feels incredibly risky.
