Full-screen mobile login vs. floating card layout

Hey everyone, I’m currently designing the authentication flow for a mobile app project for my portfolio, and I'm torn between two different layout directions. Traditionally, I’ve always seen and built full-screen login pages where the logo, welcome text, and input fields occupy the entire screen. However, I have an idea of using a "floating card" or overlay style instead, where the form sits inside a centered container with intentional spacing and margins around the top, bottom, and sides, letting the backg
