Comment on Restoring Contacts From a Time Machine Backup by Jason Kratz

Seeing this in June of 2026 and in macOS Tahoe restoring contacts from Time Machine works per the original source quoted. I launched Contacts then launched Time Machine via Spotlight. Could do the same if Time Machine is in the menu bar with "Browse Time Machine Backups". Worked like a charm.

What I found very dumb is that I had the same contact in iCloud and Google and it erased both without warning even though I was in the specific iCloud list. Contacts needs a serious overhaul and some bug fixing. It's a mess.
