Great Product Designers Don’t Start With Wireframes

The best work I have ever shipped began with a question nobody could answer clearly, not a box on a canvas. Early in my career, a design director asked me to walk her through my process for a new feature I had been assigned. I opened Figma, proud of myself, and started showing her wireframes.
