Can someone explain to me the degrees of freedom of the Higgs Boson? [closed]

I am trying to understand the degrees of freedom of the Higgs Boson Particle. I plugged it into wolfram alpha but got something I can't quite comprehend. Can someone explain the formulas behind this. I think I understand that Higgs field is redefined so that its Goldstone boson components are “eaten” to give mass to the W and Z bosons. 1 physical Higgs boson remains after this.
