How do you even get funded? I will not promote

I wish to build a startup. I have a great idea. Idk how to get validated without it getting stolen tbh. AI agents seem to validate it but then again, when do they not. I can start building since I have a tech background but this whole thing is very confusing. Who are the right people to talk to? Should I even proceed with it?
