Now inverted at the short end: I exclude the Oct 2026s because the real yield is kind of meaningless, and showing it results in less resolution for the more interesting stuff. Also, I ignore the ask yields at the short end, since they are heavily distorted by seasonality. This curve shape has affected some of my TIPS trades. One example from today is that I needed more 2027s to cover my 2027 RMD, and I had more 2029s than I needed, so I sold some 2029s and bought some 2027s (at a higher yield). I've never s
