Non-existent display

Linux Mint shows two displays for my Asus K73SV which clearly has only one. Is this because it has two graphic cards (Intel and NVIDIA)? It's annoying because at times the cursor "disappears" somewhere far on the imaginary display and when it's there it keeps messing when I watch full screen video.
Any way to fix this (without disabling graphic card in BIOS)?
