Book non-negotiables?

I sort of have a collection of books going. Who among us doesn’t, amirite? Anyway, It’s pretty modest but, as books do, it takes up a fair amount of space. I began to wonder, if I didn’t have the space for this and had to downsize, which book or books could I not do without? The one that comes up for me first is the Autobiography of Malcolm X. I’m not even sure if I would categorize it as my favorite book. Favorite non-fiction for sure but favorite overall, I couldn’t say. Regardless, I simply would never b
