Backup solution: will Borg work for my use case?

So, a use case: Essentially a Debian-based web server with PowerDNS & PowerDNS-Admin to manage DNS; Couple of web spaces, but heavy projects reside on separate instances (only DNS entries are stored on the server in question); 2 DB technologies: PGSQL & MySQL (with multiple DBs), as this is the main DB server as well (for now); What I need: Incremental backups & full backups with scheduling; Retention policy management; Remote backup storage (with BYOS) via FTP/SFTP (mostly). While researching, found that B
