What is point of “house chore” robotics? I will not promote

Maybe I am wrong on this…… but what is the point of home robots? Why so many really smart people building robots that help fold clothes and load dishwashers? Could it be that some young people are not exposed to the chaos of the real world? These robots and people could certainly be solving real problems in surgical robotics, manufacturing, warehouse stuffing issues, infrastructure repairs, ai assisted robotic testing of welds, corrosion etc submitted by /u/another_african [link] [comments]
