Pete Crow-Armstrong a National League All-Star for second straight season

Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong is headed to Philadelphia, as he’s been named a National League All-Star for the second straight season.

Crow-Armstrong was elected as a starter in 2025, but will have to settle for reserve duty this time around, but that doesn’t diminish the stellar first half of the season the Cubs star has had.

He is currently batting .289 with 19 home runs and 49 RBI’s for the Cubs in 89 games, and he leads all of Major League Baseball with a Wins Above Replacement of 5.2 on the year, combining power hitting, speed and stellar defense.

His performance was buoyed by a staggering June that saw him win National League Player of the Month honors, clubbing 11 home runs during the month. He also batted .381 and had an OPS of 1.249 for the month to help the Cubs to another surge forward in the standings.

Crow-Armstrong was joined as an outfielder reserve by Arizona’s Corbin Carroll, St. Louis’ Jordan Walker and Washington’s James Wood.

Brandon Marsh of the Philadelphia Phillies, Juan Soto of the New York Mets and Andy Pages of the Los Angeles Dodgers were elected as National League starters by a fan vote.

The 2026 MLB All-Star Game will take place Tuesday, July 14 in Philadelphia, with first pitch airing on Fox at 7 p.m.
