Need some advice - i will not promote

Hey guys, I'm 19, currently in engineering and about to enter second year in a month. The placement scene at my college is pretty bad, and that's one of the reasons I've been thinking seriously about startups. I really want to build something of my own and explore entrepreneurship instead of just following the usual placement route.
