Ex-Microsoft engineer rebuilds Notepad in 2.5KB using nothing but stuff Windows already had

Ex-Microsoft engineer Dave Plummer built TinyRetroPad, a fully working Notepad clone in just 2.5KB, using Windows' own RICHEDIT control and common dialogs. Windows 11's actual Notepad, by comparison, is 352KB and needs 5MB of UWP components just to open a text file.
