Edo Blaauw: Sorry that I wasn’t participating in this conversation. I think MWI forces you to a weird ontology, where the thing that matters is not the “number” of the worlds that satisfy a given property, but rather their total probability mass as measured by the Born rule. In my experience, every time people discussing MWI try to engage in world-counting, as opposed to world-Σx|Ψ(x)|2-measuring, they end up getting nonsense.
