Comment on Judge Says Florida’s Social Media Law Is “Literally Impossible” To Obey. Thanks To The Supreme Court, It Gets A Trial Anyway. by Stephen T. Stone
In reply to Anonymous Coward.
it seems it would be possible to comply with the law by completely removing every political post ever from any search or prioritization algorithm
The problem with that approach lies in defining what makes a post “political”. Does a post celebrating Pride Month count as political? What about a post that just says “I’m gay”? Would a post celebrating the new God of War game be “political” because someone thinks the post celebrates “wokeness”? Saying “shadowban political posts” is easy enough, but carrying out that idea gets much harder when a post is called “political” even though it isn’t directly about politics.
