Self hosting as much of my online presence as practical

I’m on a residential IP address, so if I send email directly nobody’s going to deliver it.

For what it's worth, this hasn't been my experience. I don't know if you tried and had issues, but I do send directly from my machine (also a UK ISP) and haven't had delivery issues.

I send via OpenSMTPD which performs DKIM signing, and have a ?all SPF mechanism to account for my non-static residential IP address.
