An update about Vanguard dividend reinvestment: Vanguard has vastly improved the speed of ETF dividend reinvestment. For example, on 06/23/2026 VSS paid a dividend and instead of having to wait a day for reinvestment, Vanguard reinvested the dividend on 06/23/2026 using the opening price on that date. Schwab and WellsTrade did show the dividend paid before the market open, so I could have reinvested manually at the market open at those places as well.
